We couldn’t do what we do without Lbox doing what they do. Lbox Communications has been an integral part of our project delivery since Kanda was established in 2017. Their online portal has helped us visualise our programme areas clearly and functionally, allowing us to present recommendations to clients.
The Background
Kanda is a consultancy agency operating exclusively in the regeneration, property and planning world. The business focuses on creating conditions for constructive dialogue through consultation and engagement with residents, businesses and key stakeholders.
Part of this process is regularly informing residents about developments in their area and inviting them to have their say through surveys and public events.
While there is now an increased focus on using social media to communicate with residents, not everybody has access to, or uses, social media. Plus, local authorities currently tend to prefer that companies like Kanda use leaflet communications, or at least a combination of both leaflets and social media. If the relevant local authority feels that Kanda haven’t canvassed or consulted enough people, this can potentially cause delays to the project. Therefore, it’s clear that leaflet distributions still form an important part of the consultation process.
By using leaflets, Kanda can perform their due diligence and make sure that to the best of their ability, they’re reaching as much of a cross-section of the community as possible. Lbox helps Kanda achieve the necessary levels of resident communication and consultation that they require, so everybody involved can be confident that enough feedback has been gathered.
