The Background

CVU is a Joint Venture between Colas, VolkerHighways and AECOM that has forged together the complementary strengths of three companies. They have a history and pedigree renowned for excellence in highways operation, highways maintenance and highways improvement around the world.

VolkerWessels and Lbox Communications have worked together to manage the communications for many projects, ranging from road resurfacing to electric vehicle charging point installations.

The Solution

As part of their process, CVU wanted to identify, notify and engage with residents and businesses impacted by maintenance works. Using Lbox Communications' Targeted Delivery and Mapping Platform (tellthem™), their project teams could easily map the consultation areas, obtain address counts and create instant quotations. The client dashboard meant mapped areas could be saved and edited in line with stakeholder feedback and project requirements.

Lbox Communications provided our 24hr print and delivery service for the notification letters. By booking through the portal CVU benefited from live job updates and confirmation reports which gave demonstrable evidence that the stakeholder notification had been completed. With projects often being very high profile, Lbox Communications allocated a dedicated key account manager to be on hand throughout.
